Life Lessons I Learned From Watching Friends
Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Joey: the six friends who did everything together and were the definition of friendship. They taught us all how to grow up together and go thought lift together.
Although “Friends” is such an entertaining, good-hearted show, it also provides so many life lessons that I have come to know and cherish. Here are life lessons that I’ve learned from watching “Friends:”
1) How to laugh at myself.
2) How to have self-confidence.
3) You’re going to fight with your best friends.
No matter how much you love your best friend, when you spend every waking moment together there is bound to be a fight or two, and this is okay. You know it will blow over eventually so just apologize when necessary.
4) How to accept the things I can’t control.
5) How to fake it till you make it.
6) How to NOT deal with my feelings.
7) Its okay to just do nothing sometimes.
When you’ve had a rough week, or just need a break from life in general, it’s okay to take some time to just hang around and do nothing.
8)Be your own person.
Every character in the show has different personalities and their own little quirks that make them who they are. This is what makes the show interesting so don’t forget to be your own person, your friends will like you for who you are.
9) How to use proper grammar.
10) It’s okay to not have your whole life planned out.
Just because you don’t have your whole life figured out yet, doesn’t mean you never will. It’s okay to try new things and test the waters to figure out what you really want.
