Is There A Road Map For This Journey?
So one day you look at your sister randomly and say “I think we should start a blog.” She’s in. It’ll be fun you both think. Rainbows and sunshine. A chance to get creative express your ideas, have a creative outlet. Explore and experiment. What could be better – especially if your long-term plan is to collaborate together on creative projects.
Then you actually go to start said blog – and reality sets in. How in the world does one just start a blog. Sure the logistics of it are easy; we’ve both launched a few websites already so that part isn’t the hang up. Its the whole aspect of putting yourself out there for the world. Letting the guard down and just sharing your ideas – that is the part that is hard, scary, and not to mention overwhelming. Plus, where does one start.
Jumping in and just posting one day seems odd – it feels like joining in on the middle of a conversation. Or jumping right into a relationship. No introductions? No let’s get to know each other phase? That’s weird. But at the same time introducing myself (or rather ourselves) on a blog that no one is reading yet also feels weird. So we’re at a fork in the road.
And without road map to guide us we are going to just jump (feet first, of course) in and choose a course. Figuring it out (together) along the way. Can’t promise we’ll always take the best route, but there will be some fun adventures along the way for sure. So let’s go.
P.S. We’re going to take the route of introductions first. Check out our upcoming posts to get to know who we are, what we do, and what we are passionate about.
